I spent 27 yrs. on drilling rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. Over that many yrs. we shut down operations many time because of storms. Never did we have a spill of any amount of oil into the ocean from the rig or well bore. We can operate safe because we have been doing it for over 40 yrs. in the Gulf.
Drill Baby Drill and get these roughnecks back to work. These guys are the ones that buy tools, trucks, farm equipment ect. ect, ect. Right now we have 1/2 the fleet of jack up's in the Gulf stacked(Not working). Close to 500 rigs x 60 personal per rig. Thats not counting all the service personal on each rig. Lets get this Boone Picken's plan going with using natural gas get these boys and rigs back to work.
