<description>Sounds like you guys are financed by the oil industry. I listened to Thomas Pyle on Washington Journal on C-Span. I enjoyed his talk, but I think he tried to sell oil exploration over other forms of energy production. I think we ALL need to stop talking about money so much and start talking about saving our wonderful planet. Oil is NOT the answer for our problems. My understanding is that even if we were drilling everywhere in the United States and also off shore, we still wouldn&#039;t have enough to satisfy our demands. And if I am wrong and we did have enough, how long would it last? I just think your organization needs to broaden your horizons.

Mr. Pyle also talked about Yucca Mountain. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and know all about this proposed waste site. Mr. Markey said it perfectly. That site was built because of politics, not science. It is located on a earthquake fault. I think that if a state wants nuclear energy, THAT state should store the waste. That way, THAT state would get involved in the science behind that.

In conclusion, I want to thank Mr. Pyle for his talk. I just feel that &quot;Oil&quot; is NOT the answer for our future. We need to look in to the distant future regarding energy and not remain so short sited. Mr. Pyle was a gentlemen and again, I appreciated his opinions.

Thank You!
