It wouldn't matter how much oil we add to the supply already on hand by drilling here. There is a limit as to how much can be refined and the oil/gas corporations in the US own the refineries and control the out put.

even though President Obama is against off shore
drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to
loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil
Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the
entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil ! The
oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose
and use of China and NOT THE USA ! Now here's the real
clincher...the Chinese government is under contract to
purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which
is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil".

We have absolutely no gain from this transaction whatsoever!

But wait .......... it gets a LOT more interesting.

Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this
Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this?
It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of
President Obama's most generous financial supporter during
his campaign.

If you are able to connect the dots and follow the money,
you are probably as upset as I am. Not a word of this
transaction was broadcast on any of the other news networks!

Forward this factual e-mail to others who care about this
country and where it is going. Also, let all of your
Government representatives know how you feel about this.

Below is the Wall street Journal article to confirm this.

I have always felt that if someone gets shot in the head and dies, it's a tragedy; that if someone shoots themself in the head and dies, then it's just STUPID!!! Seems to me that the continued denial of exploiting the US's own natural resources by our federal government as well as environmentalists at state and local levels is tantamount to shooting oneself in the head...ie STUPID!!!

Mining, and drilling have become much more technologically sophisticated and responsible to environmental concerns and nuclear technology is far advanced from where the USA was when it irresponsibly (in my opinion) shut off new nuclear power generation after the Three Mile Island incident. Wind and solar applications are promising although limited technologies under development, but they are a ways off into the future for economical reasons, as is the shale extraction/conversion, as I understand.

Petroleum extraction in the US proper, in ANWAR, and off the continental shelf of the US provides a near-term solution and can be safely and responsibly accomplished as can coal and natural gas. Nuclear power plants will take a time to construct but should be started immediately as should expansion and construction of new US petroleum refinery capacity. Simultaneous development of the wind, solar and shale technologies should be ongoing.

Seems suicidal to me that we send billions of dollars monthly to countries that hate us instead of harvesting our own natural resources. Seems STUPID to me, like shooting oneself in the head, as mentioned earlier.

Oh yes, as a final thought, the EPA should be abolished; it, like unionism has long outlived its original purpose.

I totally agree that we need to support off shore drilling. There is enough oil in our United States to supply our country and help others without importing and causing our prices to rise, plus decrease our national debt. We need to put our own people back to work so they can support and take care of their families. It is time that we, as Americans, Wake Up and do something to take back our America.
