Professor Desrochers main research interests are economic development, technical innovation, business-environment interface, and energy policy and food policy. Desrochers has been the recipient of several awards for his work on environmental policy issues, including the 2017 Julian L. Simon Memorial Award (Competitive Enterprise Institute).
